Machine-enter Bills/Reminders not entering automatically - what has inverse?

My car-enter bills & reminders exercise not enter automatically; I have to tell them to "enter" from the Manage Bills & Income page... what changed that I need to correct? Thank you

    What interval do these reminders use? Monthly? Other?

    How many days in advance are these reminders set to be auto-entered? Monthly: more than 28 days? Other interval: More than the duration of 1 interval?

    Most are 25 days since I read somewhere that 30 days was likewise long, so I reduced them to 25. All my reminders/bills used to exist 28 days ahead, but I reduced them to 25 since the 28 day ones were not auto inbound either... information technology is quite frustrating for me equally it used to work perfectly. I'm not certain what you hateful past 'the duration of 1 interval'? Thanks for your help...

    Thanks, Jared, for your response - I set them up in the Bills and Income Reminders tab, at the bottom of the register screen. The reminders I only want entered into the annals, to projection cash menstruation, I set up every bit automatic entry 30 days ahead. Upwardly until recently, this worked great and I never had to intervene. Not sure what inverse, merely I am guessing the new Bills & Income dashboard is somehow related? The auto-entries that now evidence upward at the bottom of the register are an Orangish color vs the Bluish colour in the Bills and Income Reminders. I attached a pic... Thanks so much for your time! Also, the orangish entries I have to enter manually; they do non enter automatically any longer - sorry, forgot to mention that...

    Seeing similar beliefs on one specific transfer reminder that I have set to car-enter three days ahead of the date. I've tried deleting and recreating it, repaired my quicken file, and all to no avail.

    When I then get to manually enter the transaction, I'yard asked if the transaction dated xxxx is the same, which it is not, and so I'm guessing there is something getting in the style of the auto-inbound.

    Has a set been made for this issue? I too have multiple bills set up on Auto-Enter. About have merely a 7 - 10 day advance date. They have not been entered automatically for a couple of months at present and information technology is causing problems. As noted by MaryEason, these bills are showing in the Bills and Income Reminder Tab on the Register, only they require an activeness on my part to get them to enter into the Register, instead of appearing automatically as they are supposed to.
    I am using Quicken Deluxe, Windows 10 Home, Version: R37.25, Build: 27.one.37.25.

    Quicken subscription for Home, Business & Rental Property R36.57 Build 27.i.36.57 On Windows Abode.

    And it's interesting to note that some transactions auto-enter and some do not.

    I am now on my 4th technical support person and it is articulate to me that none of them fifty-fifty understand what the car-enter is all about - many hours later, I guess I will just have to call back to enter the machine-enter transactions manually ... this has been so very frustrating as 1 of the solutions completely screwed up my register by resending 23 transfers between accounts that had already processed in November and December... it'southward a expert thing nosotros have plenty of pad in those accounts or information technology would have been a messier nightmare than information technology already was.     I am having the aforementioned issues. This has been happening for several months, just I merely got around to checking the community well-nigh information technology. There are posts going back to September 2020 nigh these issues, so I am not hopeful that Quicken plans on doing anything most it. For the record, though, some of my income/expense reminders that are ready to auto-enter piece of work, and some do non. I have tried deleting and reentering and changing the number of days in advance to postal service without any success. For the transactions that don't post automatically, they announced in the Bill and Income Reminders tab at the bottom of the annals. I cannot enter them manually in the register. I have to edit the transaction in the Manage Bill and Income Reminders and change from machine entry to remind but. If the transaction is downloaded to the annals, it is identified equally a new transaction. If I accept it, it will inquire me if this is the same transaction every bit the one that was supposed to exist auto entered. Ig I say yes, information technology updates the reminder and removes it from the Beak and Reminders tab at the bottom of the register (until the next due date rolls around). I have been using Quicken since the early 1990s and am using the Premier subscription, Windows 10 Home, Version R37.66, Build 27.1.37.66. Thanks.

    I think I have possibly narrowed down the reason some transactions auto-enter into the register and some practise non. I use 'reminders' as placeholders in my register to determine cash flow over time (which I'yard non certain those younger than me - the programmers - probably understand). What I am noticing is that only those "budget items", every bit I call them, practice non machine-enter, simply the actual payments do auto-enter. So what I am thinking is that if the Payee (which is a fake name/placeholder for me) for the reminder does not have a payment accost set up in the Memorized Payee List, it does not auto-enter; if there is a payment address set upwards, the payment enters automatically (thank goodness or I would exist really screwed up). Any thoughts, Quicken folks or Quicken Community? Tin can you PLEASE FIX THIS FOR Us, Quicken team? This only began, for me, back in November, 2021. Cheers -

    The automobile entry of upcoming monthly bills has stopped working for me besides. I have 10 bills that I enter each calendar month (they don't change the amount) on a detail mean solar day. They utilise to testify up in my register and would articulate when I updated my banking company transactions. They use to testify upward in my annals on the due date (I have a 0 twenty-four hour period offset). Now they just show as overdue in the bills and income folio and I tin't clear them. Looks like this has been an ongoing problem. I don't see whatever answers that work. This needs to exist fixed.

    [Removed-Disruptive/Speculation] They've changed functionality that some of us have used as a major part or our fiscal management. I accept all my regular transactions scheduled to automatically enter 45 days in advance into account registers, therefore estimating my future residual in each account. This used to work perfectly, for I think around 20 years! I don't desire reminders in a calendar. 100% of my regular bills and income are automatic- I don't accept to exist reminded that they are going to happen. When I know my future balance ahead of time, and tin can run into it correct in my annals, I can proactively either transfer funds in or out equally needed. Now I accept to go to the nib/income reminders and manually enter each transaction. Information technology's but added piece of work that the program previously did for me. If in that location's a "new" way to have this happen automatically, I wish that the Quicken folks would educate us all.

You use Quicken the same way I have for at least xx years, if not more...[Removed-Confusing] (the same thing happened several years ago when they removed the sort past Cleared/Reconciled column - totally screwed upwardly the balances - they stock-still information technology within a week!     I use the aforementioned method of motorcar inbound transactions ahead of time and it has stopped working as of the past couple of weeks. Hopefully they fix this as why have auto entry option if it doesn't piece of work.

    Hi everyone. Same happening with me, with this characteristic equally of import a feature as annihilation with Quicken. For me, it seemed to stop working a couple of months agone. I but submitted a problems report from Help/Report A Problem. Anybody, delight submit a bug report! Only when many people complain will they fix this!!!

    Concur, bscurtis1960... did you submit a bug report via your Quicken software? I'thou not sure that's getting us anywhere only maybe, simply maybe, one of these days they might notice this mess and fix it. Thanks.

    Super Validation did notice and removed a damaged scheduled reminder. This resolved the verbal problem (car enter not working) from everyone in all discussion threads in this community.

    Super Validate process:

    File
    Concord CTRL + Shift and click Validate and Repair File...
    Supervalidate File
    Click OK
    Look for the validation log window that will confirm what it found and removed. Shut the Data Log
    Shut Quicken (get out it closed for at to the lowest degree 30 secs)
    Reopen Quicken and run into if the outcome persists.
